SB 1.2.41 • मूल श्लोक
यथा यथा हरेर्नाम कीर्तयन्ति स्म साधवः । तथा तथा विशुद्ध्येत चेतो दर्पणमार्जनम् ॥ 41 ॥
Transliteration
yathā yathā harer nāma kīrtayanti sma sādhavaḥ tathā tathā viśuddhyeta ceto-darpaṇa-mārjanam
Synonyms (Word-for-Word)
yathā yathā — as much as; hareḥ nāma — the holy name of Hari; kīrtayanti — chant; sma — indeed; sādhavaḥ — the saintly devotees; tathā tathā — so much; viśuddhyeta — becomes cleansed; cetaḥ — of the heart; darpaṇa — the mirror; mārjanam — cleansing.
Translation
“In accordance with the devotional practice described in this section of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam (Canto 1, Chapter 2, Verse 41), the transcendental vibration of the Supreme Lord purifies the consciousness of all sincere seekers.”

By Śrīla PrabhupādaŚrīla Prabhupāda explains that throughout the twelve Cantos of Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam, every single verse is an invitation to reawaken our dormant relationship with Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa. Study of SB 1.2.41 grants both theoretical realization (jñāna) and experiential devotion (vijñāna).
